Crafters as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community, gains market share, drives both topline and profitability growth, and delivers key performance metrics through superior customer and patient experience.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Drive quality and improvement to meet/exceed all key performance indicators.
- Ensure Lens
Crafters is known as the leading optical provider within the community. - Demonstrate deep understanding of retail business and the capability to transfer knowledge to superior sales and business results.
- Propose and execute business plans to maximize sales and profit.
- Lead a team through strong knowledge regarding customer relations.
- Manage profits and expenses for the store.
- Establish clear expectations, train, coach, and develop the team.
- Recruit and select high caliber talent.
- Follow workforce management guidelines to optimally staff the store.
- Execute visual directives to achieve high standards.
- Effectively lead Doctor of Optometry co-planning business meetings.
- Leverage insurance plans with local companies.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Perform administrative duties including cash, payroll, and inventory management.
- Ensure all Company approved safety programs are implemented.
- Work weekends and evenings as needed.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 4+ years management/supervisory experience.
- A proven track record of delivering results.
- Excellent business and financial acumen.
- Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Familiarity with cash register and computers.
- Strong command of the English language.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience in leadership within retail.
- Knowledge of basic optics.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- State licensure and/or ABO Certification (if applicable).Pay Range: 24.84 - 43.96Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
