We are in search of a talented Grill Cook to join our dynamic team under the guidance of our Executive Chef. Demonstrate your culinary skills by preparing exceptional dishes for our restaurant patrons and event guests. Work closely with our kitchen team to uphold high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and efficient food preparation. Responsibilities: --- Showcase Culinary Expertise: Consistently craft high-quality dishes to exceed customer expectations --- Cultivate Collaboration: Promote teamwork and accuracy in culinary responsibilities Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure work areas are organized and sanitized to uphold a safe kitchen environment --- Prioritize Safety: Strictly follow safety protocols and promptly address any issues Perks: An attractive sign-on bonus is available, part of which will be included in your first paycheck, with the remainder provided upon successful completion of 90 days of employment. Responsibilities: --- Prepare and cook menu items according to the standards established by Woodcliff Hotel & Spa in Fairport, NY. --- Ensure that all food aligns with company quality and presentation guidelines. --- Adhere to food safety regulations and uphold a clean work area consistently. --- Assist in maintaining inventory levels through participation in ordering and organizing supplies. --- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to efficiently address customer needs. --- Looking for an experienced cook to work the most difficult station. Qualifications: --- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in cooking within a hotel kitchen or similar environment, including banquet, fine dining, and line cooking. --- Preferably possess culinary training from a college. --- Proficient in safely and efficiently operating various kitchen equipment. --- Capable of performing medium work, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds and frequently or constantly lifting up to 20 pounds, with the ability to move objects. --- Able to stand for extended periods without sitting or leaning. --- Flexible to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body and arms, work under varying temperatures and noise levels, and have near vision. --- Quick and agile in responding to urgent situations, willing to work long hours, and skilled in multitasking. --- Strong communication skills in English to effectively convey and understand information and ideas. --- Available for both AM and PM shifts.
