The pay range per hour is $25.00 - $42.50. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience, and certifications.

ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE
Experts of operations, process, and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store.
As a General Merchandise Team Leader, your typical day will likely include the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
  • Execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals.
  • Help lead the understanding of how operational procedures impact shortage, profitability, and inventory accuracy.
  • Help empower the team to create a consistent experience for our guests.
  • Assist with execution of processes in inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing for select GM areas.
  • Help create a scheduling plan based on business workload and guest traffic.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices.
  • Support guest services while maintaining a compliance culture.
  • All other duties based on business needs.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Age 18 or older.
    • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
    • Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Welcoming and helpful attitude.
    • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
