Job Title: Senior Mortgage Warehouse Specialist Location: Biltmore What you'll do: Our Warehouse Lending teams provide support to mortgage banking companies with short-term, secured revolving credit that enables mortgage bankers to fund and inventory residential mortgage loans until they can be purchased by permanent investors. As a Sr. Warehouse Lending Specialist in the Funding group, you are responsible for processing transaction requests from our Mortgage Banking clients. Will review a large volume of mortgage transactions, reviewing data and documents prior to approving a transaction. Respond to customer inquiries via written and verbal communication. You will utilize your superior customer service skills to help exceed customer expectations. - Process a high volume of mortgage warehouse funding transactions with accuracy and precision, reviewing mortgage documents to ensure data accuracy.
- Process more complex warehouse funding transactions, including construction, jumbo loans and bulk transactions.
- Exhibit superior customer service and appropriate follow-up with customers and internal customers.
- Consistently applies superior decision-making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals, and funding requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures, keeping within assigned approval limits.
- Assists Loan Officers and other Bank personnel as needed; and resolve inquiries or issues relating to Warehouse Lending loan operations.
- Acts as a central contact for 8-12 customers of any Warehouse related inquiry and making regular contact with customers on how we can serve them.
What you'll need: - A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-3 years of experience in the banking, insurance or financial industry required.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining an attention to detail.
- Manage complex transactions.
- Strong math skills, ability to apply complex formulas.
- Basic knowledge of financial products and services.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
