  • Drive and execute retail leasing transactions for the Company's existing retail portfolio as well as its prospective acquisitions.
  • Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of the assigned property portfolio including trade areas and competition.
  • Identify, research, and develop merchandising and leasing strategies to attract qualified prospects for available spaces in the assigned portfolio.
  • Develop business and merchandising plans for each property and utilize market, traffic, and sales data to establish a path to success.
  • Canvas, cold call and qualify prospective tenants on a local, regional, and national level through digital and in-person networking.
  • Identify and source new tenants and tenant types that will define a new standard for the retail experience at various locations.
  • Participate as a thought partner and advisor, communicating effectively within the Company and with external clients, consultants and teams.
  • Provide and maintain in-depth knowledge regarding consumers, tenants, market trends, and competitors.
  • Work with leasing professionals, property managers, and design & construction teams to ensure that the vision for the property is implemented effectively.
  • Collect pertinent financial information and business plans to perform necessary due diligence on prospective tenants.
  • Renew existing tenant leases to achieve maximum NOI and non-economic terms while improving tenant retention and relationships.
  • Manage applicable 3rd party listing brokers in assigned portfolio.
  • Work with Asset Management and Finance in evaluation of all deals including impact to the property and the company.
  • Budget and forecast for assigned portfolio.
  • Generate production/activity reports.QUALIFICATIONS
    • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a retail-focused role; and a bachelor's degree highly preferred.
    • Ability to develop strong relationships and build appropriate rapport as well as constructive relationships internally and externally.
    • Demonstrated track record of relevant retail leasing transactions and deep retail market knowledge.
    • Strong integrity and work ethic.
    • Comfortable working in a high growth organization.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with different audiences within and outside the organization.
    • Exceptional written, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Team player who is organized, proactive, and works well with others.
