Inventory and Demand Planning Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Inventory and Demand Planning Manager to join our team. In this strategic role, you will lead the Demand Planning Team and execute crucial demand planning processes while managing organizational inventory. You'll act as a functional expert in forecasting, facilitate SIOP execution for key business units, and drive inventory optimization efforts. Your leadership will help maintain efficient inventory levels and manage the introduction and phase-out of products ensuring the best outcomes in line with our operational and strategic goals.Salary: DOE per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Demand Planning Team, executing daily operational needs as a working manager.
  • Serve as the functional expert in the forecasting process and main facilitator of SIOP for key business units.
  • Enhance collaboration with business partners to align on optimal business outcomes.
  • Oversee inventory guidance and management across the company including handling slow moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB), steering new SKU introductions, and managing end-of-life processes.
  • Execute central inventory analytics and optimization aligning with weekly, monthly, and quarterly business cycles.
  • Manage organizational inventory targets and lead pivotal inventory-related meetings.
  • Provide consistent inventory updates at weekly/monthly intervals to the Leadership Team and Operations sites.
  • Guide Demand Planners towards a world-class forecasting and SIOP process.
  • Drive content creation and discussions during SIOP meetings to foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Compile summaries for the Executive Team from monthly SIOP meeting notes.
  • Monitor and enhance forecast accuracy KPIs and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Engage with different business units for material objectives setting and align sales history realignment.Minimum Position Qualifications:
    • BA/BS degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory management.
    • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of inventory management processes.
    • Proficiency in SAP with experience using advanced planning and scheduling tools such as SAP-IBP.
    • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
      • Professional certification in Supply Chain or Inventory Management.
      • Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a complex organizational setting.
      • Strong communication and training skills to educate team members and stakeholders on IBP usage and benefits.
      • History of leading successful inventory optimization and cost reduction initiatives.Skills:
