Inventory Analyst Gaithersburg, MD Your Tasks: Responsible for management of inventory from supply request, replenishment fulfillment, inventory controls, monitoring inventory throughput, and maintaining inventory disciplines across multiple sites to support North America sales. Provide visibility of North American inventory for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure efficient and effective service levels. Conduct review and data analysis on SAP inventory settings to streamline inbound, storage, and outbound activities. Act as SME for automated technology used in distribution of products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Create and analyze replenishment requests, reconcile variances and communicate critical service levels to NA Marketing.
- Create and track Key Account orders through the Supply Chain and provide communication to Product Managers in support of the required high service level.
- Conduct analysis and monitor SAP transactions to identify, resolve, and communicate inventory variance resolution when identified to North American stakeholders.
- Facilitate inventory Quarterly counts and Weekly cycle counts to maintain high inventory accuracy levels.
- Generate routine inventory and service level KPIs for Supply Chain leadership (capacity models, replenishment cycle times, scrap, etc.).
- Establish, utilize, and create procedures for inventory tools/reports to identify North American inventory level shortfalls or excess.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste associated with inventory practices.
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree required; 2+ years' experience in Supply Chain management (GMP environment experience preferred), 4+ years' experience in various Supply Chain functions (customer service, warehousing, logistics, purchasing); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in an ERP system (SAP preferred).
- ASCM CPIM, ASCM CSCP, or similar Supply Chain certification preferred.
- Experience / exposure to demand and supply planning preferred.
Skills: - Microsoft Office Suite experience required with a focus on Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and demand forecasting.
