This position will lead monitoring, analysis, and reporting of the retail deposit pricing activities. Requires regular production of dashboarding and reporting showing historical performance, current deposit volume and development of forecasted activity. Accountable for the development of deposit price modeling and the utilization of statistical analytics (e.g., Pricing Elasticity) to support the deposit needs of the organization. Will also need to develop competitive benchmarking, monitoring of regulatory developments and coordination with internal Compliance/Legal teams. - Ownership of Pricing Strategy & Modeling - Research, recommend, implement pricing changes, and re-launch or retirement of existing products based on customer needs and profit potential. Maintain and develop models for price elasticity and forecasting. Source market pricing and benchmarking data from vendor partnerships and external channels, and research promotional campaign activity and macroeconomic indicators.
- Performance Management of Product Portfolio - Lead team in the execution of tools and processes responsible for analyzing customer balance flows, behaviors, and portfolio segmentation to assess balance sheet impacts. Develop presentations supporting insights and recommendations.
- Customer Experience & Competitive Intelligence - Coordinate with Retail Product Management team to ensure that products/offerings are competitively positioned and are achieving desired customer experience in terms of utilization and positive feedback.
- Coordination with Other Functions/Groups - Perform adhoc analysis to support business needs.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. - Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) -(Finance, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics).
- Minimum experience required: 5+ Years within Banking/Financial Services industry is required. Will also consider previous experience within Finance functions at non-financial services organizations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Market Analysis and/or Product Pricing.
- Must be highly proficient in MS Suite with extensive experience in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables) and Power
Point. Preferred Qualifications: - Education level preferred: Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent) (Finance, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics).
- Preferred candidate to have experience with Curinos/Novantas and Business Intelligence tools (Cognos, Power
