Ordering food and supplies for the kitchen Collaborating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ingredients Creating and updating inventory lists Assisting in menu planning and development Training and supervising kitchen staff Work closely with Guests services and program Manager to develop menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of guests. All means are buffet style. Cook from scratch as much as possible to provide high-quality and fresh meals for guests Oversee part time cooks to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation This job will require nights and weekends depending on the schedule of guests and events We are a summer camp and conference center, providing a unique and dynamic work environment We run two kitchens in the summer to accommodate the needs of our guests and staff Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or food service setting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for creating delicious and nutritious meals What to Expect: Opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive team environment Gain experience in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management Develop leadership and supervisory skills through overseeing kitchen staff Contribute to the overall guest experience by providing exceptional dining options Take away valuable skills and knowledge that can be applied to future roles in the culinary industry Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $30,000 - $50,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
