Job Details We are actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Buyer to join our fast-paced team. This is a role that will play a critical part in our supply chain operations. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing key supplier relationships, driving strategic procurement initiatives, and ensuring the continuous flow of materials to support production needs. You will be involved in all aspects of the purchasing process, from supplier selection and contract negotiation, to inventory management and logistics coordination. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions.
- Manage the purchasing process, including the preparation and issuance of purchase orders.
- Collaborate with Production Planning to ensure the availability of materials to meet production schedules.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Conduct supplier research and development to identify new sources of supply and innovative procurement practices.
- Manage relationships with overseas suppliers and coordinate freight logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Utilize MRP and Net
Stock systems to optimize procurement and inventory management processes. - Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive MOQ reductions to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address procurement-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement role
- Proven experience in negotiating, purchasing, contract management, production planning, and inventory level management.
- Experience in supplier research and development, dealing with overseas suppliers, and managing freight logistics.
- Proficiency in MRP and Net
Stock systems. - Strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and experience in driving MOQ reductions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
