Inventory and Demand Planning Manager Join our dynamic team as an Inventory and Demand Planning Manager! In this crucial role, you will lead the Demand Planning Team and oversee vital business processes to optimize inventory and ensure efficient demand planning. You will be fundamental in driving improvements and delivering comprehensive forecasting analyses, bringing innovative solutions that align with our business goals and objectives.Salary: Dependent on Experience per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Drive central inventory analytics and optimization, supporting efforts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Provide oversight to organizational inventory targets and take the lead in critical inventory meetings across various business units.
- Distribute regular inventory updates to the Leadership Team and operational sites, ensuring transparency and timely communication.
- Function as an expert inventory analyst offering professional business support and insights.
- Guide a team of Demand Planners to achieve world-class forecasting and foster an efficient SIOP process.
- Lead in the utilization and refinement of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) demand forecasting module, promoting continuous process enhancements.
- Fuel content creation for the SIOP process, aiding in comprehensive and strategic planning.
- Facilitate discussions during SIOP meetings to ensure cross-functional teamwork and alignment on strategic goals.
- Provide analytical support during the demand planning phases to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Compile and present a summary of monthly SIOP meetings to the Executive Team, bridging communication and planning gaps.
- Monitor and enhance forecast accuracy by analyzing performance KPIs and implementing improvement strategies.
- Work closely with individual business units to streamline material creation and adjust sales history alignments.
- Conduct ongoing training for team members on IBP tools to maximize understanding and efficiency.
- Lead individual SIOP and demand planning initiatives as required.
- Engage in broader supply chain and business operation initiatives on behalf of the Supply Chain department.Minimum Position Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical aptitude with a focus on process/data analysis, problem-solving, and system improvements.
- Deep knowledge of supply chain processes, including aspects of inventory, demand and supply management, capacity planning, and materials management.
- Proficiency in SAP, with substantial experience in advanced planning and scheduling tools such as SAP-IBP.Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing a demand planning or inventory team.
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP or CPIM).
- Proven track record of successful inventory reduction and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in strategic decision-making and team development.Skills:
