Our first store opened on January 2nd, 1980, in Anaheim, CA and since then we have grown to 40+ stores in 4 counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, and the Inland Empire. We offer our customers a full-service supermarket with a large meat department, bakery, tortilleria, and prepared foods, in addition to a sizeable section of domestic and imported Latin American grocery goods. - Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented.
- Serving, demonstrating, intercepting consumers, and selling products professionally.
- Maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Having a passion for food, people, and sales.
- Proactively engaging and selling products to consumers.
- Effectively communicating the features and benefits of the product.
- Preparing and serving food samples using small appliances.
- Maintaining a clean, sterile, and safe workstation.
- Setting up and preparing Event Table for execution.
- Achieving 100% execution on assigned work.
- Building rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Completing expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Using graphic aids to facilitate demonstrations.
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS:Education/Experience:
- High school diploma preferred but not required.Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:
- Food Safety Certificate.Skills Required:
- High communication skills.
- Ability to hear, speak, and understand spoken requests.
- Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret English and Spanish.
- Must be able to drive from store to store.Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
- Standing for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel.
- Reaching with hands and arms, including overhead.
- Talking and hearing.
- Visual ability to read instructions and perform events.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb (including use of a 6' ladder).
- Balancing and lifting up to 25 pounds (occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds).
- Push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart weighing up to 300 pounds.
