We help our customers move the world. Position Overview: Siemens Mobility Customer Service is seeking an experienced Project Procurement Team Manager. As a working manager of project procurement, you will oversee a team of six Project Procurement Managers (PPM) and be a key member of the Strategic Procurement Leadership team. This role is responsible for leading all procurement activities and resources during the bid and execution phases of customer projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You are a key interface for our Business Segment leaders. You are responsible for growing the strength and depth of the Project Procurement Team. In addition, you will be responsible for acting as the Project Procurement Manager for one of our longest running Technical Service and Support Contracts, accounting for 25%-40% of your time. The role will be based in Sacramento, CA or Lexington, NC working onsite. What your day-to-day will look like: - Lead and mentor a team of six PPMs, ensuring alignment with core values of Humility, Putting the Business Needs First, Expertise, and Rigor.
- Be a key member of the Strategic Procurement Leadership team, contributing to high-level decision-making and strategy development.
- Ensure that our CS customers receive world-class service, supported by a resilient supply base.
- Integrate Procurement in the project management process (PM@Siemens) and organize, control, and monitor all Procurement activities in a project.
To thrive in this role, you have: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other Business related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of Procurement, Project Management, or Negotiation experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct management experience.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate with both internal and external partners.
- Experience in project scheduling.
- Demonstrated understanding of the entire supply chain and drivers on the total cost of ownership at each step.
- Demonstrated data and financial analysis capability.
- Demonstrated self-starter.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and demonstrated experiences.
- Cross-functional/organizational project management and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel and Power
Point. - 10-15% travel required.
- Setting you apart from others would be PM@Siemens knowledge and experience with proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems. Solid continuous improvement skills would be a plus.

The base salary range for this position in Lexington, NC is $146,600-$198,000 and in Sacramento, CA is $161,100-$217,900 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary.
