OVERVIEW:
Summary Description
The Strategist is a subject matter expert for the overall performance and Athlete experience related to the Returns Program. This role will be a key advocate for the Athlete and a contributor to developing strategy, driving improvement and managing the overall effectiveness of their area of focus. The Strategist will utilize data to make decisions and will align their workload to the optimization of channel or feature specific KPIs and overall fulfillment goals of the organization. This role will research consumer behavior, mine data for opportunities and play a key role in developing and maintaining a pipeline of improvement opportunities as we seek to continuously refine our capabilities related to the Returns process.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Program Strategy:
Perform analysis and research to define and understand Athlete expectations related to returns processes
Leverage data (ex. returns volume and program operating key indicators) and qualitative information (ex. customer survey results, external research reports) to unearth opportunities and build fact-based strategies for the continual improvement in our returns programs
Leverage tools such as INTERA analysis, Excel, SQL and survey data such as Medallia reporting to mine information to assess program effectiveness
Build and maintain exceptional cross-functional relationships including partnerships in areas such as Supply Chain, Technology and Store Operations as a partner in an effort to build actionable strategies and tactics
Program Operations:
Through review of daily and tactical operational data related to the performance of the Program, determine and execute tactics to continually improve areas of customer experience, process efficiency or cost to the benefit of the Program
Facilitate innovation and improvement in the program through productive relationships with key stakeholders across the business such as Store Operations, Technology and Supply Chain
Program Reporting and Communication
Communicate with clear and compelling information that is used to make decisions which will impact the Returns program across the organization, within the department and with key cross-functional stakeholders
Synthesize information to communicate in a compelling manner to internal and external stakeholders in an effort to drive continual improvement and influence decision making
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Analytics/Sciences
3-5 years of experience
Process design (preferred)
User-centered design training or experience (preferred)
Familiarity with enterprise reporting tool such as INTERA, Tableau etc. are a plus
Mastery of the MS Office suite of products (i.e. PowerPoint and Excel)
Ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets and draw insights
Qualitative research capabilities and analysis (market, consumer etc.)
Understanding of the eCommerce direct to consumer fulfillment market and dynamics
Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal and in presentations
Keen intellectual curiosity and passion for continuous improvement
Ability to effectively partner across the enterprise and establish and maintain strong partnerships
